An accomplished senior executive in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kirk Fisher has served as an MBA instructor and an executive in residence at Louisiana State University for 8 years. Since 2013, he has concurrently headed business operations as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Plexos. As part of his diverse public service efforts, Kirk Fisher sits on the board of directors for Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA and also previously served on the board of directors for the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. Over the past 45 years, the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge has spearheaded regional arts initiatives that range from live public events to various advocacy and educational programs. The organization offers a range of annual camps for young people including the Artsplosion! Kids Camp. Designed to introduce children to a variety of artistic disciplines, Artsplosion! gives campers the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with professional artists in fields such as poetry, theatre, and dance as well as the visual and media arts. Over a period of 5 days, this unique camp engenders understanding and growth through a combination of facilitated lessons, productive play, and audience participation.
